Who Am I?

Well… I’m Super Nerdy and I Dream in Code…

I built my first website in 1998 using Notepad, MS Paint, and a ginormous book on HTML from the library. I was under the assumption that being the only eighth grader in my school with a website would somehow land me a girlfriend.

This turned out to be a horrifically wrong. There were not enough animated GIF’s on the interwebs to make me cool. Still, I was hooked. I dove into a lifelong learning frenzy fueled by pizza and Mountain Dew.

I got an associate’s degree in computer programming back in 2005, worked for another company for a few years, then launched my own gig as a wedding DJ. By the end I’d figured out how to automate 80% of the business by writing my own PHP scripts that integrated various platforms together via their API’s.

Eventually I got bored with playing music for drunk people and decided to get back into tech. I’m still learning and growing. I love creating cool stuff out of code. Most of all I like solving problems and making a difference. Technology makes our lives better. I like being part of that.
